Only go to McSorley's if you have the intention of drinking a lot of beer. For one thing, it's incredibly inexpensive and they give you two glasses every time you order! The atmosphere is amazing and everyone that goes there has a good time. It's one of those places where everyone has a good time.

You shouldn't be surprised, though, if the place is packed. Every time I've been there there's always been a ton of people filling up all areas of the bar. It's difficult to get a seat, but even though it's been packed, I've never had to wait long to get beers at the bar. The bartenders always seem to know who needs beer.

I really recommend this place to anyone who enjoys really good beer (McSorley's, of course) and having a really fun time for a few hours... that can easily end up being a whole night if you don't watch yourself: not that that is a bad thing.
